Social Economy Voices – Just Arrived, Sweden / Talent Data Labs, The Netherlands

In December 2021, the European Commission put forward the Action Plan for the Social Economy, which presents concrete measures to unlock the full potential of the social economy. One of the goals of the Action Plan is to raise awareness about the social economy and its potential. To this end, the Commission prepared the Social Economy Voices campaign, which gives the floor to devoted practitioners and their inspiring initiatives.

Listen to Sofi Fridland, from Just Arrived in Sweden and Stefan van Tulder, from Talent Data Labs in the Netherlands. Born out of the 2015 refugee crisis, Just Arrived was founded on the idea that all new competence in Sweden is of value. In this video, Stefan explains how, as a data scientist, he first got started in the social economy. Later, Sofi explains what role the Action Plan for the Social economy can play.
