NBA needs to stop punishing players for protecting teammates – Scottie Pippen | The Jump

    Spread the love for Spain

Rachel Nichols, Zach Lowe and Scottie Pippen of The Jump react to the suspension of Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic for leaving the bench during the Derrick Favors-Mason Plumlee scuffle from Jazz vs. Nuggets, which brought back memories of Portland Trail Blazers CJ McCollum's suspension in 2017 preseason and, most famously, the suspensions of Amare' Stoudemire and Boris Diaw during the Suns vs. Spurs 2007 playoff series after Robert Horry checked Steve Nash into the scorer's table. Lowe says he has sympathy for the league, saying everything is filtered through the prism of the Ron Artest/Malice at the Palace incident.
